New Camera Angle Suggests the NHL May Have Made a Mistake on Zachary Bolduc's Goal
Looking at Zachary Bolduc's reaction, you really would have thought that the Montreal Canadiens' fourth goal was indeed his.
That said, a new camera angle seems to clearly show that the puck was in fact touched by Bolduc.
A goal that should have been awarded to Zachary Bolduc?
His celebration after that goal really seems to indicate that he touched the puck (as our dear Pierre Houde would say), and this new angle also appears to confirm the same thing.
So did the NHL make a mistake by changing the attribution of that goal and making this adjustment?
On top of that, since the famous "hockey pools" are becoming more and more popular-these small NHL decisions can have a certain impact for fans!
Let's not forget, Zachary Bolduc is only 22 years old. He was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens on July 1st (in a trade with the St. Louis Blues) in exchange for young defenseman
Logan Mailloux.
He has 2 goals in 2 games so far this season, but as mentioned above, he could already have 3 goals in 2 games.
