NHL announces a scoring change on the Avalanche's controversial goalie-interference goal

The NHL made an announcement following the Colorado Avalanche's second goal against the Montreal Canadiens.
It even created a pretty funny moment, as hats and caps rained down onto the ice because the crowd believed Brock Nelson had completed his hat trick - but no.
The NHL had just removed Nelson's second goal in order to credit it to captain Gabriel Landeskog.
"The second goal has been changed to Gabriel Landeskog. Still 3 points for Nelson, but Landy gets his 4th goal of the season."

The NHL announced a change on the second goal scored by the Colorado Avalanche against the Montreal Canadiens
It definitely spoiled the Avalanche fans' party a bit.
"Scoring update: Gabe Landeskog is now credited with the second Avs goal of the day.
Goal now reads: Landeskog (4) from Nelson (7), Colton (8).
The announcement was made before the last goal by Nelson, but that didn't stop the Denver crowd from throwing hats!

This goal is also controversial because of Martin St-Louis's goalie interference challenge, which the NHL quickly brushed aside.
Needless to say, it wasn't a particularly memorable night of work for Martin St-Louis's group, nor for young goaltender Jakub Dobes.
In the end, though, the Western road trip was a success overall.
