Massive surprise at habs practice this morning with Kaiden Guhle
We had some action today with the Montreal Canadiens, involving Arber Xhekaj but also involving Kaiden Guhle.
There have been several changes on defense in particular.
Firstly, as we reported to you, Xhekaj's season is unfortunately over, as he will undergo shoulder surgery.
Some even wonder if he has played his last game with the Montreal Canadiens.
Secondly, we have new information regarding defenseman Kaiden Guhle.
He first skated alone, which was already excellent news.
But in addition, the Canadiens have finally decided to let him participate in regular practice with his teammates. (non-contact jersey)
"Finally Kaiden Guhle will participate in the morning practice, but with a non-contact jersey. A good news in itself." - Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports
A change that clearly shows that Guhle is progressing well in his return to play process, and it gives hope to see him back in action before the end of the regular season.
Guhle, 22 years old, has accumulated 22 points in 70 games this season, including 6 goals. He maintained a differential of -8 while consistently playing against the opponent's best elements.
