The Canadiens have just announced some bad news involving Arber Xhekaj.
Here's something we absolutely did not see coming, and it's very bad news.

Arber Xhekaj will need to undergo shoulder surgery again.

"Defenseman Arber Xhekaj will undergo surgery on his left shoulder tomorrow, which will end his season. He is expected to be ready for the start of next season." - Montreal Canadiens

So, it's a second consecutive season ending prematurely for the Sheriff.

No, it's really not ideal and definitely concerning, especially since he clearly won't be able to train all summer.

Xhekaj, 23 years old, 6 feet 4 inches and 240 pounds, finishes his season with a total of 10 points, including three goals, in 44 NHL games. (a +6 differential and 81 penalty minutes).

He added 11 points in 17 games with the Laval Rocket.
