A Major Trade Offer Was Actually Made for Arber Xhekaj, and It's Confirmed by David Pagnotta
Just hours ago, we mentioned Pagnotta's interview with Tony Marinaro, in which the insider confirms that it would certainly be a possibility for
the Vegas Golden Knights to ask for Arber Xhekaj in a potential trade for Hague.
But that's not all he said.
During the same segment, he dropped a few gems.
David Pagnotta specifically mentioned that, contrary to what people might think at times, the Montreal Canadiens love Arber Xhekaj.
There have been many opportunities for Kent Hughes to trade Xhekaj-at a very good price, too-but he's never even considered it.
"A year ago, they turned down a first-round pick in a trade for Arber Xhekaj.
There were teams that were very interested in acquiring Xhekaj, including the Philadelphia Flyers, but the Canadiens want to keep Xhekaj because they still love his potential."

That rumor had been floating around for months, but now it's confirmed!
In hindsight, do you think the Canadiens made the right call by not trading Arber Xhekaj for a first-round draft pick?
