Juraj Slafkovsky just made an unexpected promise to Habs fans
The young forward Juraj Slafkovsky, of the Canadiens, just made quite a promise to the fans in Montreal and they will surely remember it.
We love it.
In recent days, Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports spoke with the owner of the Montreal Canadiens, Geoff Molson. Several very interesting topics were discussed, including the owner's expectations for the upcoming season.
From what we understand, Mr. Molson is very pleased with the progress his team has made this season. He is also very enthusiastic about the upcoming season and, without saying it explicitly, is thinking of the famous "P" word.
"It looks good for next season and we can dream of being in the mix next year because of all this development that has happened." - Geoff Molson
The owner's comments have brought back into the spotlight some statements made by Juraj Slafkovsky last January.
Indeed, as the young man had promised to Anthony Martineault of TVA Sports, to return to an old hairstyle when the CH would make it back to the playoffs. This promise came after the journalist showed him an old photo of him, when he had bleached platinum blonde hair.
Let's just say, it's not only the owner who will have high ambitions for the next season, but also the players. Imagine if the group also challenges itself to mimic Slafkovsky, that would be epic!
It even reminds us of when Carey Price had that haircut during his time in junior hockey...
