The name of Jordan Kyrou was seriously linked to Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens at the start of the summer.

His name was often mentioned in the same conversations as that of defenseman Noah Dobson, who, as we know, was eventually traded to the Canadiens. It really seemed like Kyrou was also going to be traded to Montreal, possibly as part of the same deal involving Logan Mailloux and Zachary Bolduc.
Something clearly caused the whole thing to fall apart at the very last second.
More recently, the well-known insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed that if Jordan Kyrou becomes available again in trade talks, Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens will definitely be fully involved.
Marco D'Amico also echoed that sentiment that if Jordan Kyrou was to be available, the Canadiens will show interest.
So, here's a good one.

Surprise: The St. Louis Blues have reportedly just scratched Jordan Kyrou from their lineup

We've just witnessed a bit of a bombshell in St. Louis, as the Blues have apparently decided to make Kyrou a healthy scratch!
Wow!
Could this smell like a trade?
"Joe Vitale just announced to ESPN commentators that Jordan Kyrou looks like a healthy scratch tonight."

- Lou Korac, St. Louis reporter
It's as if the Montreal Canadiens decided to scratch a Cole Caufield or a Nick Suzuki, just imagine.
This will be a major story to follow (and verify), but in any case, even if Kyrou returns to the Blues' lineup, it's clear that something has broken between the St. Louis organization and their star forward.
Jordan Kyrou, 27 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 189-pound forward who has some history playing center.
He was the 35th overall pick by the St. Louis Blues in 2016 and has eight points in fourteen games this season, after posting 70 points last season, including a very strong 36 goals.
