Recently appearing on the airwaves of RDS, the expert and former goaltending coach for the Montreal Canadiens, Stéphane Waite, made an important statement.
In essence, Waite explains that if it were his decision and if he were in charge, it would already be over for goalie Jake Allen with the CH, and Cayden Primeau would play more.
It's quite a striking statement, and it would be hard for the veteran to take, but it's an idea that's generating a lot of discussions.
Allen, 33 years old, has a record of 5-11-3 this season, with a goals-against average of 3.66 and a save percentage of .894. He earns close to four million per year until 2025.
