This is very interesting!
According to the reputable journalist Jacob Stoller of The Hockey News, not only is Jordan Harris available on the trade market, but Kent Hughes is actively working to trade him.
"Hearing the Montreal Canadiens are shopping Jordan Harris ahead of the deadline.
Harris is a 23-year-old LHD who skates well & has 1 more year left on his deal ($1.4M). MTL's overflow of young D has made him expendable- Jacob Stoller, THN
Wow! As Pierre LeBrun explained last night, there are two levels when a player is in trade rumors.
1- A GM listens to offers for one of his players but is not actively looking to trade him.
2- A GM is outright shopping the player and making calls to offer him to other clubs.
Harris would fall into this second category, meaning he could really be traded within the next two weeks.
This is big news! A major story to follow.
