We have several good updates for the Montreal Canadiens right now. The team is playing well, the end of season fever is finally back in town, and on top of that, some unexpected major reinforcements could be arriving soon.
We recently talked about Canadiens prospect Ivan Demidov.
According to recent reports from insider Elliotte Friedman, Hughes and the Canadiens would reportedly be working to bring Demidov to town this season!
But that's not all.
If Demidov joins the lineup as a reinforcement this season, it would be huge.. but imagine if Kaiden Guhle also comes back to help the team!
Well, according to Renaud Lavoie, that is a very real possibility.

A few weeks ago, several journalists claimed that Guhle's season was over, and there were even doubts about whether he could return next year. So, this is a major turnaround.
According to Renaud Lavoie's information, Kaiden Guhle could indeed rejoin the lineup within three weeks.

Kent Hughes has also confirmed the news but with a slight caveat.
According to Hughes, Kaiden Guhle could indeed return to play within three weeks, but only if the team is still in the playoff race.
