Carey Price and Shea Weber honoured in big fashion and details are revealed
We have just received a major announcement involving Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, and we have the details.
One of the best goaltenders in Habs history has just been inducted into the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame. Wow.
He's not the only one, as former Canadiens captain Shea Weber has also received the same honor.
Price and Weber, Stanley Cup finalists with the Montreal Canadiens and Olympic gold medalists, will officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 19, 2024.

The ceremony will take place at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Here is an excerpt from the official statement:
«The British Columbia hockey community has become very deep and rich, and we thus have another wonderfully deserving class.
Our inductees hail from Sicamous, Anahim Lake, Abbotsford, Vernon, and Fort St. John. It's truly a provincial group with fantastic stories of significant contributions to the game.
Weber, selected 49th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2003 NHL Draft, is one of hockey's best all-around defensemen.
He played his minor hockey and began his junior career in his hometown of Sicamous, then joined the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL at 16 in 2001-2002, where he played three seasons and became a Memorial Cup champion during the 2003-2004 season.
Among his many accomplishments, Weber received the Mark Messier Leadership Award in 2015-16 and tallied 589 points in 1,038 career regular-season games with the Predators and the Montreal Canadiens.
He added 42 points in 97 Stanley Cup Playoff games, helping the Canadiens reach the Stanley Cup Final.
In 2015, Carey Price did something that hadn't been done since Dominik Hasek in 1998 he won the Hart Trophy, the Vezina Trophy, and the Ted Lindsay Award, along with sharing the William H. Jennings Trophy with Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Price was inspired to play like Patrick Roy and, in 2018, he surpassed the legendary Hab for second place in Canadiens history with his 290th win in a 3-0 shutout against the Boston Bruins.
Price has 361 wins and 261 losses in 712 career regular-season NHL games, and added 43 wins in 92 career Stanley Cup Playoff games. He led the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup Final in the 2020-21 season with Weber.»
We sincerely congratulate Carey and Shea on this well-deserved honor, as they have been proud representatives of British Columbia for nearly two decades.
Carey Price, 36, is considered by many to be one of the top three goaltenders in Montreal Canadiens history.
In 712 career games, he maintained a goals-against average of 2.51 and a save percentage of .917.
As for his record, he has 361 wins, 261 losses, and 79 overtime losses. (49 shutouts)
Two true legends!
