We all know how important it is for young Lane Hutson and his family for him to represent the United States at the upcoming Olympic Games.

His father has spoken about it a lot, and even Hutson himself has mentioned it a bit.
That said, in light of what's happened over the past few hours, one big question comes to mind...
What is Bill Guerin doing?
What are Team USA doing?
Just a few days ago, the United States proudly announced that they had added Lane Hutson to their list of eligible players.
"Lane Hutson has been listed in Team USA's expanded preliminary 2026 Olympic roster"

- Habs On Reddit
And now, today, their GM Bill Guerin has basically stated that he's not interested in Hutson... Seriously, what are they doing?

A major blow has hit Lane Hutson and his hopes of being selected for the Olympic Games

Here's an excerpt from Guerin's statement:
"He's a good player, but we only have room for so many players," Team USA GM Bill Guerin said in a phone interview on Tuesday. "I don't know if it's his time right now."

- Bill Guerin
The message is pretty clear.
Don't expect to see Lane Hutson wearing Team USA's colors at the next Olympic Games - and don't even expect him to be seriously considered, which is absolutely ridiculous in my humble opinion.
And you - what's your opinion on this situation?
