We've just received some pretty incredible news involving Montreal Canadiens players Mike Matheson and Patrik Laine.
I'd have a hard time believing this normally, but it comes directly from the reputable site Daily Faceoff, which is notably led by insider Frank Seravalli.
According to their latest report, Kent Hughes is currently working on possible extensions involving two players - and one of them is a big surprise.

In Matheson's case, that's not surprising at all - but in Laine's case, it sure is!

So, there's a real chance that Patrik Laine could re-sign with Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, returning to the team next season.
