Zachary Bolduc Confirms Canadiens' Request During Interview With Radio-Canada
In the past few hours, Bolduc commented on the matter during an interview with Radio-Canada.
Zack Bolduc on his role with the Habs:
"I was told to practice my faceoffs. I don't know if that's to play centre or just to take faceoffs on the left side. But I'm gonna work hard to be ready for camp and to have the mentality of a winger but also someone who can play centre."
"The last time I played centre was at 17 years old in Rimouski..I think I can adapt well to the challenge."
It does a great job of summarizing what seems to be ahead for Bolduc this coming season.
Personally, I think starting with a line of Zachary Bolduc, Kirby Dach, and Ivan Demidov could be interesting - and it'll show whether that combo works well with Dach.
If yes, bingo!
If not, it'll be up to Martin St-Louis to find another alternative, but it's clear the options are limited right now when it comes to centers who can effectively lead a second line.
