Zachary Bolduc Accepts Canadiens Offer Rejected by Fellow Young Forward
Some interesting things are currently happening behind the scenes involving the Montreal Canadiens. Specifically, the requests and proposals made by the Canadiens to certain players during the summer season.
In the past few hours, we reported that Ivan Demidov refused a request from the Montreal Canadiens to work seriously and intensively on faceoffs.
That said, the same request was also made to Zachary Bolduc, and he accepted!
Zachary Bolduc Accepts the Montreal Canadiens' Offer to Have Marc Bureau Help Him Work Intensively on Faceoffs
As reported by the excellent Marco Normandin, Zachary Bolduc is currently working on faceoffs one-on-one with Marc Bureau, and it's truly interesting.
He now appears to be a serious option considered by the team's leadership for the much-discussed second-line center role on the Montreal Canadiens, even though he wasn't one of the two names recently mentioned by Jeff Gorton in an interview.
One thing is certain, you can't fault the Habs' front office for not trying to find solutions.
Even though Ivan Demidov "wants nothing to do with faceoffs," Zachary Bolduc-his potential future linemate-accepted the challenge and could become an even more valuable asset to the young number 93 forward of the Canadiens.
We can't wait to see how this develops - a line featuring Patrik Laine, Ivan Demidov, and Zach Bolduc certainly holds promise.
