Canadiens coaching staff member announces resignation due to personal reasons
Two departures have just been announced for the Montreal Canadiens, less than three weeks before the 2024 NHL Draft, according to Kent Hughes.
First of all, there will be a change at the assistant coach level in the third tier, with the Trois-Rivières Lions announcing the resignation of Mathieu Brodeur.
He played an important role with the young players.
Having played two seasons as a defenseman for the Lions, in 2021-22 and 2022-23, he made the transition behind the bench and became the Lions' defensive coach.
Today, he moves on to a new chapter in his career.
