The Canadiens announce the acquisition of defenseman Marc Del Gaizo via NHL free agency, along with the signing of a name already familiar to fans-Sean Farrell
Kent Hughes remains hard at work.
"The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens hockey club, Kent Hughes, announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to one-year, two-way contracts with forward Sean Farrell and defenseman Marc Del Gaizo."

These are interesting signings!
"Canadiens reward Farrell for his strong 2nd half last year and bring in some more depth on the left side of their defence with Del Gaizo.
Worth noting that Farrell is waiver eligible this year. Will be highly motivated to try and crack the roster.
Could surprise come training camp."
