Arber Xhekaj Made Subtle Gesture on the Ice After Florian's Fight vs Deslaurier
Florian Xhekaj gave us quite a show last night at the Bell Centre, during the preseason game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers.
He delivered solid hits, created good scoring chances, scored a goal, and dropped the gloves against veteran
Nicolas Deslauriers.
That said, Arber also had quite an eventful night at work.
Arber Xhekaj on his younger brother Florian tonight:
"He stole the show tonight. He had a good fight and I got scared for a moment. I gotta realize that he's all grown up now. Now he's my size, he's not a little boy anymore, so I gotta get that outta my head. I'm proud of him.."

A nice little gesture from Arber Xhekaj
It went a bit unnoticed last night, but rewatching the game today, I realized Pierre Houde made an interesting remark on RDS.
He mentioned that right after the fight between Florian and Deslauriers, Arber Xhekaj immediately got up from his team's bench, jumped on the ice, and practically rushed over to the penalty box to quickly check on his younger brother.
The full sequence wasn't shown on camera, but part of it can be seen here.
It's a beautiful thing to see! He went to make sure his brother was OK, and afterward, it was important for him to congratulate him.
