In the last few seconds, there has been some action in the National Hockey League, as two players have been placed on waivers.
"Placed in the NHL waivers today: Vinnie Hinostroza (BUF) and Mike McCarron (NSH)." - Chris Johnston Hinostroza, 28, still has 8 points in 19 games this season (25 points in 62 games last season and 12 points in 17 games the season before)
McCarron, 27 and 6-foot-6, has two points and 17 penalty minutes in 15 games this season.
As you know, he is obviously a former first round pick (25th overall) of the Montreal Canadiens in 2013.
Both players will find out tomorrow at 2pm whether they are claimed or not. Hinostroza could absolutely be, but he makes 1.7 million.
