Sportsnet proposes a blockbuster trade that sends Marner to Seattle

Since the Maple Leafs were bounced from the Stanley Cup Playoffs once again by the Boston Bruins in game seven fashion, fans have been begging for Mitch Marner to be kicked out of town, and even with a NMC in his contract, the talk continues. Now, Sportsnet have given some major proposals for Mitch Marner, with this one standing out above the rest.

As it stands, it looks like the Kraken would win the deal. However, Shane Wright was once the consensus number one pick in his draft class before the Montreal Canadiens chose the Slovakian powerhouse Juraj Slafkovsky instead. No doubt that Shane Wright's floor is a 2C and his ceiling can most definitely be 1C, just not in Toronto, well until Auston Matthews is there.

The Leafs would also get Adam Larsson, an immediate solution to their right handed defensemen shortage, who would immediately become the Leafs best defensive defensemen.

For Seattle, they get immediate help with Mitch Marner who is known for his elite playmaking ability. He would be the star guy in Seattle and would thrive on a line with Matty Beniers and Jared McCann.
