Last night during the Edmonton Oilers-Chicago Blackhawks game, we witnessed an absolutely magical scene.

Hats off to the Oilers for making a young goalie's dream come true.

Due to the last minute absence of their goaltender Stuart Skinner, the Oilers had to call in an emergency goaltender. Young Matt Berlin was the backup on the Oilers' bench, and he was the one backing up Jack Campbell last night.

Magical scene

With the Oilers leading 7-3, here's what happened:

Matt Berlin was surprisingly sent in to the game and it was a dream come true! Wow!

"Matt Berlin, from the University of Alberta, was in uniform for the Oilers tonight.

He saw 2:26 on the ice, making a save on a shot, for a 100% save percentage. A memory that will last a lifetime."

We love it!
