When Marc Bergevin traded Max Domi for Josh Anderson, we all agreed that it was a steal. While Anderson isn't a superstar, the Tricolore desperately needed a power forward of his caliber.
Number 17's north-south style of play is pretty straightforward, but there are still a lot of things that need to be worked out according to the Tricolore head coach. Martin St-Louis said that it's all well and good to skate at 100 miles per hour all the time, but you miss opportunities and that's exactly Anderson's challenge.
Former Habs content creator Marc Dumont believes that Anderson's style of play just doesn't work with a coach like Martin St-Louis. According to him, Kent Hughes should trade him sooner rather than later.
Josh Anderson's north-south style of play has led to a lot of exciting moments for the Montreal Canadiens.
But it's simply not working within Martin St-Louis' concepts.
The Habs would be wise to start making trade calls sooner rather than later
Anderson still has very good value in the NHL and he has a contract that is fair. It remains to be seen if the Tricolore staff agrees with Marc Dumont.
