The Chicago Blackhawks have decided to place forward Adam Gaudette on the block. He will be available for all other teams in the Bettman circuit.

Gaudette, 25 years old, is a natural center, who can also play on the wing. He may not be a top-six forward, but he could easily establish himself as a third center on a team that doesn't have much depth at that position.
His offensive potential is interesting, as he has already accumulated 33 points, including 12 goals, in 59 games in 2019-2020 with the Vancouver Canucks.
Marc Bergevin could definitely be interested in him in my opinion. The Montreal Canadiens are looking for a lot of solutions at center. Maybe Gaudette could help the team, who knows? Also, given their overall ranking, the Tricolore will be one of the first teams to have the right to speak.
Remember that like Cole Caufield, Adam Gaudette has already won the Hobey Baker Trophy, awarded to the best college player.
He has a total of 58 points, including 23 goals, in 168 NHL games so far with the Canucks and Blackhawks.
Check out a little preview of what Adam Gaudette can do:
