The Montreal Canadiens are currently on the ice for their morning practice in preparation for tomorrow's game against the Buffalo Sabres, and there are some changes to the lineup, particularly in the defensive department:
Matheson-Edmundson
Guhle-Savard
Harris-Kovacevic
Xhekaj-Wideman
Arber Xhekaj will obviously skip his turn tomorrow, in favor of Jordan Harris. As for Johnatan Kovacevic, he remains in the top-6.
Changes on defense
With Martin St-Louis' recent statements, it was to be expected, but Xhekaj is now placed next to Chris Wideman (removed from the lineup)
We should expect a three-way rotation between "Jacko", Kovacevic and Harris, but we must admit that it will be special to watch a Habs game without Arber in the lineup. He brings a lot to the table!
Xhekaj, 21 years old, has played every game for the CH this season. He has 2 goals, 5 points and 45 penalty minutes.
More details to follow!
