Suzuki's line is replicating a feat from the 1992-93 season with the Montreal Canadiens

The trio of Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield and Kirby Dach just won't quit. At the beginning of the season, you might have thought it would be a short-lived affair, but after 15 games, it's starting to look like it will be for the entire 2022-23 campaign.

At the rate the three journeymen are going, they will all reach the 77+ point mark by the end of the season. That would be quite a feat that has not been accomplished in the last 30 years.

Indeed, the last time all three players on the same CH trio had 77 or more points each was during the team's last Stanley Cup win in 1993. Kirk Muller, Vincent Damphousse and Brian Bellows accomplished the feat.

We are not saying that the Canadiens will win the Stanley Cup this year. There are still several big pieces missing to get there, but if the first trio can reach such a high level of excellence, it will be great news for years to come.
