We know it and we keep saying it, since Martin St-Louis took over the Montreal Canadiens, Cole Caufield is simply dominant. The small forward scores goals with a disconcerting regularity.
Just when you thought Caufield would be scoring the majority of his goals on the power play, he's producing at five-on-five with great pace. So much so that since February 10th, he has 25 goals in that situation.
This is very impressive, especially considering that Connor McDavid is not only the best offensive player in the NHL, he is also the best scorer so far this year. It's also worth noting that this is only Caufield's second season in the NHL. It's promising!
