Dominique Ducharme tries night after night to find solutions to ignite the winning instinct of his players. The Habs' record of one win and six losses speaks for itself. The players are simply not involved in the game. There is a little spark missing.
What if that spark was on the Laval Rocket side? A certain Michael Pezzetta had a good training camp with the big club in September. This young man with the beautiful curly hair was the talk of the town, thanks to his energy and his enthusiasm. He may not be the best player on the ice, but he brings a dynamic that the Habs could greatly benefit from.
The Habs have talented players, but in hockey, it takes a lot more than talent to win. You have to get your nose dirty, which is what Pezzetta does.
Brendan Gallagher can't do it all by himself, even though he seems discouraged at times. He needs a helping hand.
Pezzetta may not be THE solution to revive the club, but he definitely couldn't hurt. He's a Montreal Canadiens product, plus, why not give him a chance? He's still young, he's only 23 years old, the CH had drafted him in the sixth round in the 2016 draft.
A little taste of what the Habs could enjoy :
