At his most recent press conference last night, Montreal Canadiens' head coach, Martin St-Louis, dropped two big gems.
We love it, it's so refreshing.
As the Habs finally won a game in the powder blue uniform, Martin St-Louis let loose on the subject:
this is a historical franchise, probably have some guys that wore those jerseys 50 years ago that were red or white looking down on it like 'what are you guys doing?
we probably get what we deserve with the blue jerseys based on how historical this franchise
Wow! He added:
"I don't know what next year has in store for us, but I hope it's not these jerseys." - Martin St-Louis
And when asked about the long and painful video replay at the end of the match:
Martin St-Louis on what was going through his mind during the long video replay of the overtime goal: "I could only think about the blue jerseys."
Good news! Let's highlight that the CH will no longer wear the "Reverse Retro" uniform, at least for the rest of the current season.
The head coach also had another gem, which was very funny:
"Martin St-Louis, in good spirits during his post-match press conference, said this when asked about the presence of 4 minutes of David Savard in overtime, MSL joking that it's not a big deal because Savard doesn't move much when he's on the ice."
