Marc Bergevin can't cook?!?

Rick Springhetti, a prospect for the blog recrutes.ca, delivered his opinion about Marc Bergevin's hockey management "style." He painted and depicted the Montreal GM in the same sentence, indicating that he was good at finding good ingredients, but couldn't cook.

Here are Springhetti's words about the "big boss" of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge:

"Bergevin reminds me of a chef who manages to find good ingredients, but doesn't quite know how to make a good meal. He adds too much of one thing and forgets to include other things." - Springhetti

With the current crop of the Montreal Canadiens, it's pretty hard to argue with Springhetti. Though he is able to add sandpaper, toughness, scorers and his power play specialists, the cake doesn't rise, the food isn't tasty right now, but there are different ingredients, right?

Saturday night, we saw two Canadiens. The team in the first period and the team in the last two periods. Unfortunately, so far, the Canadiens are not what they think they are. The 2nd and 3rd periods have shown what the CH really is. At least, so far!

Will the tide really turn with this group?
