As the Laval Rocket held its famous end of season review following Friday's elimination, we learned two important news.
Two players are reportedly leaving.
During the press conference, Jean-François Houle, who is the head coach of the Habs AHL affiliate, announced that he really doesn't believe that Danick Martel will be back next season. The two (Houle and Martel) had an emotional conversation.
So, it would be over for Danick Martel within the Habs organization.
"JF Houle had an emotional conversation with Danick Martel today. He was his coach at the junior and professional levels. I don't think he will be back next season," said Vincent Demuy.
That says a lot!
Martel, 28 years old, collected 12 points in 26 games this season (33 in 70 last season).
And that's not all.
During the press conference, Corey Schueneman was speaking like a player who will not be back next season either.
So, Schueneman would also be among the players who will be leaving.
Schueneman, 27 years old, collected seven points in 31 games with the Montreal Canadiens (+1 differential this season).
More details will follow.
