Latest news update regarding the health of Carey Price
Present on the airwaves of 98.5 FM during Mario Langlois's program in the past few hours, the analyst and former goalie coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Stéphane Waite, had some good news concerning Carey Price.
Waite, who has maintained a good relationship with Carey, shared that he had the opportunity to meet Price this week.
They had a good discussion together, and based on this meeting, Waite gave us some good news:
(Carey) is doing very well. I found him so fulfilled, happy! [...] It was fun; we spent a couple of hours chatting. When I saw him, the first thing I said was, 'Wow! You look in game shape!' He's good, he's slim, he's in shape. He's still regularly training at the Bell Complex here.
- Stéphane Waite
Carey is in great physical shape, and most importantly, he is not limited in his everyday activities with his children.
It was a pleasant surprise for Stéphane Waite!
Waite briefly touched upon the possibility of a miraculous comeback for Price, but he made it clear.
Even though Carey is generally in excellent physical condition, based on what the former goalie coach reported, it truly feels like number 31 has entered a new stage of his life.
He is not getting in shape necessarily to return as a professional player; he is getting in shape simply to have a good quality of life, and we can understand that!
According to what Stéphane has learned and shared with Mario Langlois, Carey Price currently feels good because 'he can be functional in everyday life. - Via 98.5 FM
