Kent Hughes settles the Josh Anderson rumors once and for all

Literally minutes after the announcement of the trade of Shea Weber to the Vegas Golden Knights for Evgenii Dadonov, general manager Kent Hughes was present at a press conference to answer questions from reporters.
He obviously talked about the trade in question, but he also agreed to comment on several other issues, including the trade rumors involving Josh Anderson.
See what he had to say, including the article by Frank Seravalli, which we also reported:
"Several teams have called about Josh Anderson, since he hasn't been traded. It can show you how much we love Josh and want him in the Canadiens organization." - Kent Hughes
He continued:
"Regarding the speculation that Josh Anderson could be traded, Kent Hughes said he has no intention of trading him. But he also said he would not turn down any opportunity to improve his team." - Eric Engels
Clearly, Hughes cares about Anderson, he doesn't want to trade him, and he believes Josh can be part of the solution to getting back to the Stanley Cup Final.
It's obvious that there aren't many Josh Andersons in the NHL, and that's why so many teams are calling and making offers, trying to acquire him.
Basically, Hughes really doesn't want to trade Anderson, but if he gets an offer that can't be refused, he'll take it.
Do you like that mentality? It reminds me of what he said to Artturi Lehkonen when he was still a Montreal Canadiens player.
