Kent Hughes sent one of his trusted men to see some very interesting players yesterday

With the trade deadline fast approaching, more and more professional scouts are attending games to assess potential targets for their GM. The Canadiens are no exception, as a club scout was seen at the game between the Dallas Stars and the Winnipeg Jets.


More so, it was Professional Recruiting Manager Eric Crawford whom Kent Hughes sent on the mission.




Over the past few weeks, the Stars have often been linked to the Canadiens and Jeff Petry. Did the Habs went to observe a potential return last night? Highly possible. Unless it's for John Klingberg, but that would be surprising because he will drop as an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Other rumors have also mentioned CH's interest in Pierre-Luc Dubois. This is of course to be taken with a grain of salt, but you never know...
