Appearing today on DFO Rundown with Frank Seravalli, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes just offered an update on goalie Carey Price:
"Kent Hughes says Carey Price had a "minor procedure" on his knee and they are waiting to see how he responds. He said it wasn't surgery of any kind." - Arpon Basu
So it will be interesting to see what impact this little procedure in question will have, on Carey. Hughes added that he definitely doesn't want to withhold any information, but at this point, he really doesn't know any more (in his own words).
"I really can't tell you any more, that's all I know. I think it's really time that will dictate what happens next with Carey. But, we have hope. We believe in it." - Kent Hughes
The CH GM also mentions that because of this uncertainty, it was important to trade Shea Weber's contract, without having to pay too big a price to do so.
