We recently denounced the silence of the community and the media in the scandal that is currently affecting Hockey Canada. We remind you that last Thursday, Hockey Canada and the CHL published a settlement with a woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted by eight CHL players, including members of the 2017-2018 World Junior Hockey Championship gold medal team.

In an increasingly transparent world, it's almost impossible to keep secrets. In a case like this, the court of public opinion has distinct powers of judgment that often result in a swift conviction.

In this regard, journalist Ken Campbell seems to be on a mission. Through the process of elimination, he intends to narrow the list. Campbell has reportedly contacted the agents of every player on the 2018 Canadian World Junior team to inquire about their involvement. Here's who answered the call:

So it's understandable, if the agents are telling the truth, that Cale Makar, Jonah Gadjovich, Dante Fabbro, Cal Foote and Victor Mete would not be involved.

However, not everyone seems to like this tactic by the reporter. Scott Norton, an agent who represents lesser-known NHL players, called out Campbell directly on Twitter.

The NHL has opened an investigation into the lawsuit. Some are already NHL regulars, while others remain in the league system.

Here is the 2018 Canadian roster:

Dillon Dube, Jonah Gadjovich, Boris Katchouk, Maxime Comtois, Taylor Raddysh, Tyler Steenbergen, Drake Batherson, Michael McLeod, Brett Howden
Sam Steel, Alex Formenton, Jordan Kyrou, Robert Thomas, Jake Bean, Conor Timmins, Cale Makar, Dante Fabbro, Kale Clague, Victor Mete, Carter Hart,
Colton Point.
