Joshua Roy Confirms Major Rumour Live On Air Involving His Future in Montreal
There are some very keen observers among the fans of the Montreal Canadiens, and here's another fine example.
Last night, the young Quebec forward Joshua Roy was interviewed live on RDS by the excellent Pierre Houde, and he let slip a little statement that did not go unnoticed.
Many believed that Roy's stint with the CH was just a short audition and that he would be sent back to the Laval Rocket before the next trip (that was the rumor), but no.
Joshua Roy officially confirms that he will accompany the team to New Jersey
So, he will stay with the Canadiens for a while longer, which is great news!
"It's going to be impressive to be able to hit the road and play away." - Joshua Roy
He also added that he feels more and more like an NHL player and a player for the Montreal Canadiens.
So, his first trip will certainly be a big step for him and another step in that direction.
We also take this opportunity to invite you to watch his very interesting interview. He is very direct and transparent, this young man.
This could also mean that we will have to wait before seeing Tanner Pearson and Josh Anderson back in uniform.
Roy, 20 years old, has one shot on goal in two games, with an average playing time of 11:18.
