As mentioned by reporters Arpon Basu and Marc-Antoine Godin, in their most recent article on The Athletic, the Montreal Canadiens organization has just hired Neil Little, a former Philadelphia Flyers goalie, and who now becomes a goalie scout, for the Habs.
According to Basu and Godin, Little will fill the void left by the loss of Sean Burke, who left the organization in the last few months.
It's interesting to see the organization continue to invest in its goaltending department.
We now have an expert, who will work full time, specifically to scout promising talent, and bring them to Montreal.
Of course, we must eventually find a permanent replacement for Carey Price. The lucky one could already be in Montreal, but maybe not either.
The scouting of goaltenders is an often neglected aspect of an organization, but Kent Hughes and his team have just made an important move for the future of the Tricolore in net.
It will have a direct impact on the next acquisitions of Kent Hughes in net, whether it is via waivers, via the trade market or via the draft.
