In the last few days, following Gary Bettman's statement regarding Logan Mailloux and the Montreal Canadiens, this issue has come back into the news.

Once again, the CH organization has reiterated its clear objective to be a positive vector of change in society, and clearly, we can see that management is taking concrete and responsible actions to prove it.

In order to evolve at the pace of our society, in 2022, the Habs called a special and important meeting of players today, after the day's morning practice.

In fact, every player currently in Montreal (almost every player on the team) attended a mandatory 90-minute meeting on respect and consent in the last few minutes.

A great initiative to protect the organization and its players through prevention.

As reported by Sportsnet's Eric Engels, the meeting was co-hosted by former NHL player Bruno Gervais and Geneviève Paquette, Vice President, Community Engagement and Executive Director of the Canadiens Children's Foundation.

The Canadiens are taking concrete steps to show that the organization has learned from Logan Mailloux's story, and they want to make their players better people in society.

Good for them!
