As we've mentioned a few times in the last few hours, even though Pierre Gervais' famous book has practically become the talk of the town for the Montreal Canadiens, due to some of its more daring passages, it must be stressed that there are many great stories in this book.
In particular, as the journalist Mathias Brunet mentions, in his book, Pierre Gervais reveals that the CH captain, Nick Suzuki, spent hours in his office.
Why would he do that? Simply to learn about the history of the club and the culture of the Montreal Canadiens. Wow! That's unheard of, especially coming from a young man.
It says a lot about Suzuki that he really wants to learn about the history and the past of the team.
This is a great example of how there are also great stories behind the scenes.
At this point, he had not yet been named captain of the organization, but this is another argument for why he was the right choice.
"Too bad. There are so, so many positives in this book, like when saku loaned Pierre his condo after his divorce, Patrick Roy surprising him with a new washer, Nick Suzuki spending hours in his office curious about the team's past, etc." - Mathias Brunet
It's important to read the entire book, to find this kind of content just as interesting.
