As the circumstances surrounding his departure from the Chicago Blackhawks become clearer, and knowing that it is absolutely not a criminal matter, many experts are looking into Corey Perry's hockey future.
As we reported this morning, the renowned Frank Seravalli has just revealed that there have been a few teams in the last 24 to 48 hours that have shown interest in Corey Perry. (to sign him)
Remember, he is currently a free agent, free as a bird, and everything indicates that he could play in the NHL as early as this week if he wishes and if he agrees with a club.
Knowing all this, and knowing how well he gets along with several young players of the Montreal Canadiens, like Cole Caufield, the question has just been raised, notably by the excellent Max Lalonde.

After all, the price would be very minimal and he has still collected 9 points in 16 games this season.
