The Vegas Golden Knights situation is getting a lot of attention as, despite their $100+ million payroll, despite the fact that they treat their players like numbers, with the goal of winning at all costs (hello Marc-Andre Fleury, hello Nate Schmidt, hello Evgeny Dadonov) and well they are on their way to missing the playoffs.

While they are aiming for the Cup and nothing less, they probably won't even make the playoffs this year and that amuses many observers.
Among those, as reported by our colleagues at Marqueur.com, is former Montreal Canadiens scout Grant McCagg.
He posted a hilarious tweet, taking a swipe at former Montreal Canadiens captain and current Vegas Golden Knights member Max Pacioretty.
Number of Stanley Cup Final appearances since Max Pacioretty was traded for Tatar, Suzuki and a 2nd round pick.

Suzuki 1 (22 years old)
Tatar 1
Patch 0 (33 years old)

And yes, despite everything that happened, in the end, Tomas Tatar and Nick Suzuki reached the Stanley Cup Final, while Max Pacioretty, on the other hand, is still waiting.
He might have been better off fighting to stay here after all! The comments under the publication say it all.
In short, there are worse things:
Since Jack Eichel made his debut with the Golden Knights (Feb. 16) :

#LetsGoBuffalo 13-14-3

Oops! Theș Golden Knights may eventually learn that talent isn't everything if you want to go far in the modern NHL.
The Vegas Golden Knights are currently five(!) points behind the Los Angeles Kings in the Pacific Division. It smells like golf to them.
