Breaking: Last-Minute Signing of Goalie Aaron Dell
In the last few minutes, it was announced that goalie Aaron Dell has been given another opportunity to prove himself in the NHL!
We just saw another professional tryout contract awarded!
Dell has just signed a Professional Try-Out agreement (PTO) with the Columbus Blue Jackets, according to CapFriendly, and he will try to secure a standard contract.
Dell, 34, is a 6-foot tall goalie weighing 213 pounds. He played 38 games for the San Jose Sharks' farm team last season, recording a 15-17-4 record, with an average of 3.14 and an efficiency rate of 0.899.
He also played four games with the Sharks, in the NHL, in 2023. (Average of 2.71 and efficiency rate of 0.913)
Over his NHL career, he has played in 130 games and compiled a record of 50-50-13, with an average of 2.92 and an efficiency rate of 0.905.
