Even if Carter Hart has been talked about recently for the wrong reasons, he remains a goaltender who could interest some teams.

According to what is reported by the site Danslescoulisses.com, the name of the Philadelphia Flyers' netminder has once again been associated with the Canadiens, as some experts compare his playing style to that of a certain Carey Price.

Elliotte Friedman from Sportsnet had already linked the name of Carter Hart to Montreal and now another expert has come up with a bold prediction, that the goaltender will simply be traded to the Montreal Canadiens.

This is at least the statement of Lyle Richardson, columnist for the site Bleacher Report, who made five predictions for the 2023-2024 season and among them, is that Hart becomes a member of the Canadiens.



According to the columnist, the Flyers are starting a long rebuilding process and Daniel Brière would be looking to part ways with his young goalie, while he still has value.

Hart will be entering the last year of his contract this season and the price to pay might be lower than expected. Richardson suggested that Kent Hughes might give up Jake Allen or Casey DeSmith, as well as draft picks and a quality prospect to the Flyers, in return for Hart.

It should also be mentioned that the Flyers acquired young Cal Petersen during the offseason and he might be the new future goaltender in Philadelphia.
