There's really starting to be a lot of movement on the NHL trade market as the 2025 Draft approaches.

As we recently reported, the Utah Mammoth hold the fourth overall pick in the upcoming draft, which will take place in a few weeks in Los Angeles, and all signs point to them being fully open to trading that selection.
The former Arizona Coyotes essentially hit the jackpot, finishing second in the lottery and making a huge leap from 14th to 4th overall.
This situation could lead Mammoth GM Bill Armstrong to shop his first-round pick in order to acquire immediate help for his team.

Here's the Price to Acquire Utah Mammoth's 4th Overall Pick-for the Canadiens and Any Other Interested Teams

That's according to insider David Pagnotta, who also mentioned that the organization is looking to acquire a young top-6 forward.

To acquire the 4th overall pick-which could land a player like James Hagens or Caleb Desnoyers-it appears Kent Hughes would need to include (at minimum) a top-6 forward in his offer.
Does Bill Armstrong consider players like Alex Newhook and Kirby Dach as legitimate top-6 forwards?
That's the key.
If so, then someone like Kirby Dach or Alex Newhook would likely be included in the trade for the 2025 fourth overall pick.
