Reaves, now 38 years old, never managed to make an impact after signing a three-year, $4.05 million deal with the Leafs in the summer of 2023.

Henry Thrun, 24, is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound defenseman who was a fourth-round pick by the Anaheim Ducks in 2019.
He has recorded 25 points in 119 NHL games, including 5 goals, and recently posted 6 points in 18 AHL games.
Thrun also had two strong final seasons in the NCAA (32 points in 35 games and 31 points in 33 games).
Will Ryan Reaves actually crack the Sharks' lineup?
He might still have a positive impact on the young Sharks - we'll see.
