Dobson, 25 years old, 6 feet 4 inches, and 200 pounds, is a right-handed defenseman with 24 points in 46 games this season, after scoring 70 points in 79 games last season.
He is earning $4 million this season, but he will be a restricted free agent (RFA) this summer.
