BREAKING: Evgeny Kuznetzov's New Team Revealed After Being Placed on Waivers
As we reported yesterday, there was a dramatic turn of events in the NHL when the Washington Capitals placed their number one center, Evgeny Kuznetsov, on waivers.
He has been a star player for them over the past few years.
So, we were eager to see if Kuznetsov would be claimed, by the Montreal Canadiens or another club, and the verdict has just been announced.

This means that the few teams that could afford to add his contract, like the Montreal Canadiens, have chosen to pass.
Kuznetsov accumulated 55 points last season, and 79 points the season before. He was probably the MVP for the Caps during their Stanley Cup win but it's been more difficult since then.
Do you believe ignoring him was the right decision to make here?
The Caps have also just announced that Kuznetsov has been sent to the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League.
