A concrete trade offer has just emerged involving Logan Mailloux
As long as Kent Hughes hasn't acquired his new Kirby Dach or Alex Newhook, this is a topic that will keep people talking.
It really seems to be a question of "when" and not "if" the Montreal Canadiens will announce a trade involving a promising young forward.
On this subject, analyst Marc-Olivier Beaudoin has weighed in and made a concrete offer.
A concrete trade proposal between the Canadiens and the Anaheim Ducks involving Logan Mailloux and Trevor Zegras
«Mailloux + 1st WPG 2024 + a forward prospect among Heineman, Farrell, Kapanen. If they want a Dvorak/Anderson/Armia to "fill the hole" left by Zegras too, take one!» - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
Would you make such a trade? Do you think it would interest the Ducks?
Zegras, a 9th overall pick in 2019 (1st round) by the former regime in Anaheim, is a 23-year-old center who has amassed 15 points in 31 games this season.
In his NHL career, this exceptional young talent has accumulated 154 points in 211 games, including 55 goals and 99 assists.
On a line with Kirby Dach and Cole Caufield, it could be very interesting, but at the same time, I'm really not sure I want to trade Logan Mailloux. (even though I really believe in Zegras)
You have to give to receive, but Mailloux could also be a very special player.
