Trade alert involving Jack Studnicka
We finally have a trade to announce in the NHL, a trade between the Vancouver Canucks and the San Jose Sharks.
"TRADE
To Vancouver:
D - Nick Cicek
2024 6th round pick
To San Jose:
F - Jack Studnicka" So it's Studnicka, the most significant name changing teams here.
He was once considered by far the best prospect of the Boston Bruins.
He had just racked up 49 points in 60 games at just 20 years old in the AHL. Studnicka then had tremendous value, but unfortunately, he never managed to establish himself in the NHL. (16 points in 90 games)
He is now 24 years old and has scored 7 points in 9 games with the Canucks in Abbotsford.
He will have a fresh start in San Jose.
Details to follow.
