Last-minute announcement on NHL waivers and it's confirmed by Renaud Lavoie
Just a few days after they included him in their lineup against the Montreal Canadiens, the Pittsburgh Penguins have placed the speedy forward Vinnie Hinostroza on waivers.
Hinostroza, 29 years old, is a center player with a style similar to Rem Pitlick.
He has accumulated three points in 12 games this season with Pittsburgh.
Moreover, in the American League, he has continued to be solid, earning four points in five games.
His next destination will be known tomorrow.
